When used on a tube or inside a tire you have to have a clean surface and let the glue set-up and dry. If you just slap it together quickly its going to come right off. Used this bargain kit a year ago and still holds air just fine.

Product works great as long as you use it as intended. Do not make the apparent mistake that "Dissatisfiedx2" made and apply the patch to the outside of the tire (applying the sealant and patch to outside of the tire obviously will not work). The patch must be applied to the inside of the tire (i.e. remove the nail, screw... remove the tire from the rim then follow the provided instructions with the sealant and patch applied inside the tire). I've used the patch kit to repair tubeless 10" to 24" go-kart and riding mower tires. The patch kit requires more work, but works better than the liquid fix-a-flat (which can be messy) or plugs (which are applied from the outside and don't work as well on thin 2-ply tires).
