I'm no professional but I weld often. Before this hood, a Weldcote, Harbor Freight auto darkening and then old school ones. Ive been using them for 20 years. The view, adjustments of shade, timing and modes all work well. What I am still struggling with is the headgear. I cannot flip it down without using a hand. Its not really a tension issue. Its more an issue of the way they made the cranial part. There is movement that complicates flipping it up and down. The next issue was I felt too far back from the filter so I adjusted the headgear forward. I do have a large nose but not large enough to justify how badly the controls scrape it. I have to admit, for the price, I am not too thrilled with the hood but its used now and Ill keep using it.
