Totally NOT squirrel-resistant!

If being “squirrel-resistant” is important to you, DO NOT buy this feeder. The squirrels literally hang on there all day long and eat. Furthermore, the birds do not come to the feeder when the squirrels are there.

Not a bird feeder, a squirrel house

The bird feeder is pretty, but my mother bought specifically because it was squirrel resistant. The squirrel does not find it to be difficult to access - in fact, it finds the bird feeder to be a lovely and comfortable squirrel house. Capacity is approximately 1 squirrel.

Squirrels loft roof and feed directly at source

The squirrels in my yard figured out in less than 24 hours they could open the roof and feast directly at the source. The little rubber "washer" holders didn't even slow them down a little. Perhaps I have MENSA Tree Rats to outsmart given the decent ratings of this product

I love the squirrel resistant feeder. I use to have issues with squirrels messing with my other feeders and eating all the bird seed. So far this one they haven't been able to eat the seeds
