The Woodlink Absolute II Squirrel-Resistant Feeder is perfect for the bird enthusiast. This attractive double-sided feeder will attract a wide array of birds to your yard, and the locking top and metal spring-activated perches work together to keep squirrels away. The rugged, all-metal feeder has two counter balance perches adjustable to three positions to allow light, medium or heavy birds on the perch. The wrong bird or squirrel closes access to seed. Its top locks down securely deterring squirrel access and when a squirrel steps onto the perch, a metal shield immediately covers the seed tray, shutting off the seed supply. This squirrel-resistant feeder holds up to 12 lb. of mixed seed, sunflower seeds, peanut halves or safflower and requires less frequent filling. The current bird population (robust and plenty) Ive been feeding for years will not eat from it. Its only been 2 weeks, but as of now, they land on it, look at the feed, nibble and then fly away, or drop to the ground looking for feed.
I may need to go back to my previous feeders. I was hoping g they would figure it out. Not so far. Training may take a bit. Fingers crossed. My previous feeders hold so little, I was filling them 2x/week.

The John Deere of Bird Feeders

I had one that was destroyed when a tornado took down a tree that landed on it. Now it's replaced. I love this feeder! It's sturdy and holds a lot of seed. You can adjust the spring lever to keep the heavy "understandables" from cleaning it out.
It's worth the money.
