Royal Wing Red Barn Birdfeeder is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible Design Second year on this feeder - it has cost more in wasted seed than I paid for the feeder. The roof overhang drains rainwater directly into the feeding tray, spoiling the seeds. Then the drain holes under the feeding tray clog from rotting seeds. Only good thing of this feeder is the plastic has held up better than most. Only place this feeder is any good is under a protected cover.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Plenty of Room For Lots of Birds Great birdfeeder if you have lots of birds because it is very large and on the heavy side. Well constructed and very nice looking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really nice looking bird feeder! This is a really nice looking bird feeder and holds a lot of bird seed. I have it hanging on a large shepherd's hook, and it is putting a strain on the hook. The next time I need to add bird seed, I won't fill it so full.

A bear attached our feeder. It seems all the pieces are okay. Do you have directions how to reassemble? I think we need to take the roof off to get sides back in.

Can we purchase a replacement for the cupola on the top of the roof? Ours came off and we cannot find it. We put plastic wrap over it to keep food inside the barn dry, but the birds have not come back to the feeder.

How do I open for cleaning?

Asked by: Jschmi71
The tray on the bottom of the feeder can be removed by placing the feeder on its side and using the heel of your hand to firmly tap on the tray so the tabs on the underside slide through the opening/slots. There is a lip on these tabs so it may require multiple strikes to the feeder. However, an (easier) option for cleaning your feeder is to remove the chimney/cupula at the top of the feeder and insert a garden hose through the opening and washing it out that way. If you have any further questions, or you are still having difficulty removing the bottom tray, do not hesitate to contact us. 1-763-486-1754
