This style has survived weather and salt air exposure. I use the center shaft to spear an orange half, can add wedges of apple and orange around the edge. Can also be used with stackers, and even suet blocks can be speared with the center post. The base is open so loose feed will drop to the ground

Nice feeder and EZ for birds to get to. Refills really EZ. Very simple not rocket science. Just fill it and hang it. Use in addition to other feeders.
