Does the top open for easy cleaning inside?

Asked by: bobblyhead
Yes. Since the roof is quite heavy and poses a strangulation risk for young children, you pull the roof sections out from the front to open the house for cleaning.

Does it have a place for a heater ?

Asked by: Duch
There is no particular location in our houses for a heater. There is a lot of space along the walls to add one. Make sure the temperature of the outer casing of the heater you select does not exceed 160 degrees. Also, make sure the heater has a good temperature control so it doesn't over heat the interior space. Dogs are sensitive to excess heat and you could end up with your dog outside the house if it gets too hot inside.

Is it chew proof?

Asked by: TerriWDE
No. The only dog houses that are truely chew proof are those that are either made using some kind of metal or that have metal covering the areas where a dog might chew. Not to be flippant, but it would be easier to try and train the dog out of the chewing habit than to find a chew proof house.
