Some Cats Are Allergic to SalmonWe adopted Harley 6 years ago and quickly realized his salmon allergy. He is a blue point Siamese and quite finicky with his food, so we were thrilled when he loved this food. Maybe two years ago he would get bouts of diarrhea and we assumed he ate something as we had moved to a house and he had a little outdoor space (only when we were with him). But then this summer his ears were very bumpy he was crying from the diarrhea. That's when I thought to re-check this label. I was mad at myself for not realizing sooner but madder at this company for not prominently labeling the change of ingredients. Some cats are allergic to fish. The LID brand is great, if your cat isn't allergic.
