Q: Can this generator run through a quick connection to a 200 gallon home propane tank or is it too of low pressure if the connection is after the home regulator?
5 months ago- A: The XP16000iHT is designed for use with the two-stage regulator system it comes with, and that the hose included in the box must be in-line during operation. That hose is expecting to receive 3 PSI or more in order to operate, regardless of the tank size you are connecting to. You will want to consult with your propane installer if any adapters or additional regulators are required for your setup.5 months ago
Q: So this would need each outlet connected to a 50 amp breaker on the main breaker box to get whole 100 amps to house
11 months ago- A: "Donjr" must be thinking that the 50 Amp plugs only run at 120V, and that's why he came up with that math. But that is not the case; 50 Amp plugs run 240V at 50 Amps. If he actually only needs 120V (which is probably not the case) he would have to run separate extension cords from the 120V outlets to pull the full amount available.8 months ago
Q: Can I run 2 4ton AC units plus a refrigerator and maybe a tv?
11 months ago- A: Yes, you can as long as you have a soft start kit installed on both 4 ton AC units.11 months ago
Q: Can you run both 50 amp outs at once?
11 months ago- A: Yes, both can be used as long as the generators capacity of 13,000 Watts isn't exceeded while using both outlets.11 months ago
Q: What is a decibels at 80% power usage?
a year ago- A: We currently don't have a measurement of the dB at an 80% load. Our current measurement taken will be 66.9 dB at a 25% load.11 months ago
Q: whats is take to make it California compliant? Can you send it to Nevada? Thank you.
a year ago- A: Currently we don't have a version of this model that will be California compliant. Yes, this model will be legal for use in Nevada.11 months ago
Q: Anything more powerful than this?
a year ago- A: Currently this would be the most powerful generator we offer.11 months ago
Q: What is the noise level in db at 25% and 75%
a year ago- A: The XP16000iHT measures 66.9 dB at 25% load. Do we not test our inverter generators for decibel ratings at 75% load.a year ago
Q: Local regulations require genertor to be 20.0 from the house, Natural Gas 3/4" hose @ 2 psi =55.416 water column ONLY carries 247,000 BTU's, does this mean your XP16000iXT cannot run at FULL LOAD since datasheet shows a 295,000 BTU requirement?
a year ago- A: The 15 ft line included will be capable of carrying the full capacity of BTU required for this generator, but longer lengths might require adjustment with a larger diameter line size to accommodate. We recommend speaking with your local plumber for solutions on ways to output the correct BTU based on your setup.a year ago
Q: Greetings, What is the process for switching from one fuel source to another i.e. instaneous via a valve or some device or re-fitting for the fuel type. Thank for your tome and I look to hearing you. Thanks, Rich
a year ago- A: The fuel can be switched by shutting the generator off on one fuel type and changing the fuel selector switch to the desired fuel to start.a year ago
