Q: Can this generator run through a quick connection to a 200 gallon home propane tank or is it too of low pressure if the connection is after the home regulator?

- A: The XP16000iHT is designed for use with the two-stage regulator system it comes with, and that the hose included in the box must be in-line during operation. That hose is expecting to receive 3 PSI or more in order to operate, regardless of the tank size you are connecting to. You will want to consult with your propane installer if any adapters or additional regulators are required for your setup.6 months ago
Q: So this would need each outlet connected to a 50 amp breaker on the main breaker box to get whole 100 amps to house

- A: "Donjr" must be thinking that the 50 Amp plugs only run at 120V, and that's why he came up with that math. But that is not the case; 50 Amp plugs run 240V at 50 Amps. If he actually only needs 120V (which is probably not the case) he would have to run separate extension cords from the 120V outlets to pull the full amount available.9 months ago

Q: Local regulations require genertor to be 20.0 from the house, Natural Gas 3/4" hose @ 2 psi =55.416 water column ONLY carries 247,000 BTU's, does this mean your XP16000iXT cannot run at FULL LOAD since datasheet shows a 295,000 BTU requirement?

- A: The 15 ft line included will be capable of carrying the full capacity of BTU required for this generator, but longer lengths might require adjustment with a larger diameter line size to accommodate. We recommend speaking with your local plumber for solutions on ways to output the correct BTU based on your setup.a year ago

Great generator. Very quiet. I would suggest however making them easier to unbond . Had to hire an electrician and even he had a hard time unbonding it.

Over the course of two weeks my northern Illinois town was his by two tornadoes. The first one kept my home out of power for one hundred nine hours. During that outage my XP16000iHT kept my house going. The generator ran non stop, except for two oil changes.
