Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST FEED FOR THE MONEY I have tried many different feeds with my sheep and they like the DuMOR feed the best and everyone tells me how good they look on the outside and I know they are healthy on the inside - no vet calls!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from New formula is terrible! I loved the old formula of Dumor Sheep Feed. However, this year, 2018, they changed it and added molasses. Now, my feed gets moldy quickly bc I live in a warmer and humid climate. I do keep my feed stored properly. I now have to buy sheep feed from another feed store. I like Tractor Supply, but now there is no reason for me to drive 30 minutes to their store. I hope Dumor returns to the original formula or offers a choice of sheep feed with or without molasses.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from availability is unreliable We used this for our small sheep flock for around a year and a half. We liked that it was a complete ration, and we could feed it to them without anything else. The problem is that our local store can't keep this stuff in stock on a regular basis. The stores in nearby towns do...so you'd think they would too. We've requested that they do so a half dozen times or so, to no avail. I guess they just don't care about our business. We went to a local feed store and they set us up straight!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Mix Our lamb from 4H just loves DuMor Sheep formula. We ran out and tried to switch one time and she would not eat the repalcement brand - Only problem is it's availability. The "select Stoes only" is getting to be narrow with most of the ones in Western NC no longer carrying it -

Is this feed GMO free?

Asked by: Rachel2416
Answer: It is probably not GMO Free (non-GMO). Grains are purchased on the market where they do not distinguish between GMO and non-GMO. Commercially grown GMO crops used in animal feed are currently corn, soybeans, canola, alfalfa, cotton, and sugar beets. To insure a product is non-GMO, please purchase a product that is certified organic.

Is this feed safe for horses to eat?

Asked by: DC Murphy
It is not recommended for horses. The copper level is too low for a horse and the feed is made in plants that are not ionophore free. Even though there is no medication in the feed there could be cross contamination. Ionophores are extremely toxic to horses and could result in death if consumed.
