The convenient electric start includes a battery, plus Cold Start Technology ensures a quick start in cold weather. Designed for safety with a low oil shut-off sensor, this inverter has a 0.6-quart oil capacity (recommended 10W-30). Operate your Dual-Fuel generator right out of the box on gasoline or propane, and easily switch fuels with a quick turn of the fuel selector dial. Using gasoline, the 192cc Champion engine produces 3400 starting watts and 3100 running watts, and will run for 7.5 hours at 25% load. It produces 3060 starting watts and 2790 running watts, and will run for 14.5 hours at 25% load when using a 20-pound propane tank. Champion's Inverter Technology includes smart Economy Mode, which can reduce the electrical load, providing quieter operation, extended engine life and better fuel economy. Included are a 120V 30A RV (TT-30R), two 120V 20A household outlets (5-20R), a 12V DC automotive-style outlet with dual USB adapter, plus a propane hose with a built-in regulator. Operates at 59 dBA from 23 feet - about the same noise level as normal conversation. The optional Parallel Kit provides a quick clip-on connection which allows you to increase output by connecting up to two 2800-watt or higher inverters. Also included is a standard 50-amp RV outlet with power to start and run two 15,000 BTU RV air conditioners. Fully assembled with foldaway handle for easy storage and built-in handles and never-flat tires for easy transport. EPA certified and CARB compliant.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it Spending the summer in FL due to Covid19 and thought it about time I purchased an emergency generator. Two friends on the block had the Champion 3100W dual fuel inverter and it got them through Hurricane Irma, so I thought I'd give it a try. Right out of the box, added oil, hooked up my 20lb propane tank and......vroom, started up on second flip of electric switch. Enough power for 1000 W fridge, bedroom, bath and kitchen LED lights, TV, Internet and plenty of power to spare if needed. Quiet little beast, especially on economy setting. Installed 50A breaker so I have the option if needed to run two in tandem. Would buy from again in a heartbeat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bought for next power outage our earthquake! I purchased this as a backup for the next power outage or earthquake. Living in California, it's only a matter of when and not if the next earthquake hits. I read a lot of reviews on different generators and selected this one because of its many features. It was easy to set up and it much quieter than I had expected. It has wheels for ease of moving it around, as it is quite heavy. I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for a reasonably priced generator for a myriad of reasons.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quiet, reliable I use it for my RV power. Inverters are allowed in national forests. much quieter than a generator of comparable size. I like the multiple ports for a variety of uses. I love the built in wheels and pull handle. Easy start. BUT, mostly it runs well in high altitudes with variable temperatures.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Little Gen, Works As Described I bought this for my 2020 26' Rockwood Ultra Lite tow behind for when we go camping off grid, and as emergency power when electricity goes out at the house. Did the 5 hour break in and changed oil as required. First used at the farm where there is no electricity and was able to run the camper A/C, fridge, and anything else as long as I kept mindful to turn off things not in use. Had no problems. Ran a long time on gasoline. Like the dual fuel but prefer using gasoline as you get the extra watts versus propane and easier to get. It's light enough to pick up and throw in the back of the truck. It seems simple enough to maintain. I expect a lot of years out of this thing. I'm thinking of getting another to run in parallel as my camper has two A/Cs. Although it's way cheaper than a Honda, I still think it's a little expensive. If it had a resettable hour meter, fuel gauge, power output meter, and a 50 amp plug, it would be perfect.

I would like to keep this generator in my F250 pick up bed...(I pull a 25 foot travel trailer and use a/c for my indoor cats when it gets hot). Lifting it for location changes is a challenge. What might you recommend?

Asked by: etacar
The machine must be removed from the truck bed and placed on the ground for safe operation with at least 3 ft. of clearance on all sides for proper air flow and be at least 5ft. from combustibles. The machine does weight 95lbs, dry weight. Maybe you want to look for a manual crank hoist to install in the truck bed to lift and lower the inverter for you?

I noticed that this generator is covered, can it be run in rainy conditions? Maybe under the fifth-wheel?

Asked by: harleyrpls
No. Even though this inverter generator has a case, it is not water proof and you must protect it from direct element such as rain and snow fall. We also do not recommend that you run the generator under your camper. In the interest of safety, it should be run 3 to 5 feet from any structures.

Can you connect 2 generators together?

Asked by: Nelly1995
Yes! You can increase your power with the optional Parallel Kit (model 100319) which includes a 50-amp RV Ready outlet.

What is the starting and running wattage with two that are paralleled together?

Asked by: Rod G
The parallel kit is limited to a continuous wattage of 6,000 watts. This is 120V at 50A. The peak wattage, which is supplied momentarily for starting inductive loads and not long enough to trip the circuit breaker, would be the full 6,800 watts.
