Q: It says to 60” then states it can expand to 13 ft would we need to buy additional parts for that or is there enough for it to go to the 13ft wide?

Description online for Tractor Supply stated " the 38-inch height, with the ability to expand from 37 to 60 inches". Upon receiving the gate and reading the directions, the gate does not accommodate openings between 38" - 50". The opening has to be less than 38" or greater than 50". Very disappointed. Took back to store.
