- A: Here is the vendor's response: Unfortunately, no, there is no way for pressure mounts to be used with this gate. Anything over 60” wide does need to be hardware mounted. It is too wide to properly pressurize and would likely fall out of the opening. We apologize for any inconvenience.6 years agoHelpful?

Baby gate strong

Great and easy gate to install. You can even easily adjust with security measures. It’s sturdy yet durable enough to put up. I love the little gate that you can open as well.

Good large gate

I have two kids under the age of 3. I have three stairs down into the mudroom that are 6 feet wide and standard baby gates are seldom wide enough to span such a wide opening. This definitely does well as safely blocked the stairs and the gate opens pretty easily; however, I don’t think the style is for me. I have another gate that, for lack of a better term, unrolls and can be latched onto the other wall and then rolled back up to open the space back up completely. For me, this is preferable from an aesthetic and practical standpoint. This gate seems more stable, especially for pets, but the other gate I have seems like it would be a little more difficult for my two year old to open (that could be good or bad). Overall, easy installation and great for what it is.

These are easy to install, secure and work great. We have them set up on the stairs . when we aren't home and they are easy to use, keep open when not in use, and they don't move but are easy to take down when we have guests

The shape of this gate is kind of awkward and doesn’t fit in my house properly but it is nice quality and easy to set up. It is very heavy so make sure your little one can’t pull it down.
