A hybrid variety, Amelia's outstanding disease resistance and high yields make it a perfect addition to challenging growing conditions. Popular in Texas for its fabulous flavor and big yields, the large, round, red tomatoes taste delicious sliced for sandwiches, diced for pico de gallo, or simmered for sauce. Plus, Amelia tomatoes resist cracking. The determinate vines look great in containers but benefit from stakes to support the heavy fruit. Plant in full sun after last spring frost, 24-36 inches apart. Plant reaches 4 to 5 feet tall and matures in 80 days. Resists verticillium wilt (V and V1), fusarium wilt races 1, 2 and 3 (F1, 2, 3), nematodes (N), stemphylium (ST), and tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV). Be sure to water your plant when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch, and feed it regularly with Miracle-Gro Plant Food. Amelia Tomatoes are My Favorites !!! Consistently perfect tomatoes, and a Lot of them !! They taste good, are Beautiful and the perfect tomato size for just biting into and enjoying straight from the garden !!
