Q: The specs list the battery dims as H 9.5” and the length as 9.5”, no width, however the picts show L 7.5, w 5.5 and H 6.5, close as i can remember. The former would not fit my Craftsman which has a 725-1750A but the latter dims would. Are the spec #s bad?

Cub replacement battery

Great battery. Posts are in a better location than the battery that came with the mower. Easier to connect. Only problem was it is too tall to fit under the holding bracket. Had to make a bigger bracket.

Bad Battery

I purchased the battery Sept. 2024, for my Cub Cadet RZT mower. It lasted only a little over 1 season. I stored the battery in my basement, on a rack, during the winter - it was never subjected to extreme cold or left sitting on a concrete floor. Nevertheless, this Spring (2026) the battery has already gone bad, just 18 mos after purchasing it.

Replacement was very easy once I was able to lift the original battery out of the tractor. New battery has a very handy handle. Fits perfectly. Tractor started right up. Very happy so far.
