I bought my first 250CCA battery five years ago for my electric start generator. It worked flawlessly for five years. I always had it on a trickle charger when it was not running. It always started for my monthly exercise. I’m going to Tractor Supply again to get another one!

I exchanged an old battery for a new 250 battery and was not charged the extra because of the exchange. That battery did not had the sufficient crank power to start my tractor so I returned that battery for a new one with 320 cranking power and WAS charged extra for not having the old one? I don’t think it was correct to do that. Now that 320 battery does not have the cranking power to start the engine, I’m planning to get the 350 cranking power battery as soon as the become available. Will I be charged extra again ?

So I've been through 3 of these battery's in the last year. I have a new tractor and it seems that after a month these battery's need to be charged. That shouldn't be. I'm on my 3rd battery and once again it needs to be charged. Everytime I start my tractor it sounds like the battery is dead.all 3 battery's failed a voltage drop test and there brand new.has anyone ever had problems with these battery's before?

After an exhausting search, I found the garden tractor batteries at Tractor Supply to be the lowest price for a name brand with good reviews. My Bucks County PA Tractor Supply is only about 15 minutes away. I ordered it and paid online, and about an hour later, they emailed me that it was ready. I got to the store, exchanged my “core” battery, and two minutes later I was on my way back home. Once I replaced it in my tractor, I checked the voltage and immediately was able to start up the engine. I still shut it down and still put it on a trickle charger overnight. It’s been a month, and it’s going strong, won’t use the charger again until cold weather comes. I am very happy with my purchase.
