Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hey! My finicky kitty likes it!!! I am glad this product was recommended to me by my Ragdoll breeder! I have a super finicky 14 year old who I’ve been trying to feed something she likes for months. This has worked for her. I only wish it was a smaller can. She eats less than 1/8th at a meal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent quality! My cat was having skin and coat issues due to some unknown allergy. Excessive itching and pink sores with loss of fur... I switched him to a grain free diet, using this brand, and within 3 days I could tell the difference! His skin cleared up right away and his coat has grown in soft and velvety. Very happy!

Are the whitefish varieties safe to feed my cat daily?

Asked by: grasshopper1221
The whitefish cat food variety is specially formulated to meet the nutritional requirements necessary for proper maintenance of an adult cat. It is referred to as a "complete diet" meaning that it can be fed strictly to the pet as the single source nutritional needs required to ensure a healthy diet.

Is there Rice or feline unnatural food filler other than Ash?

Asked by: sshulse
Both the Chicken & Whitefish and the Turkey & Giblets varieties in this pack are grain free, meaning that they do not contain wheat, corn, rice, barley, or oats. The two products in this variety pack do contain chicken liver. Livers are defined as by-products by the Association of American Feed Control Officials. However, there are no by-product meals in these formulas. In regards to ash, all pet foods contain some level of ash. However, the Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) does not require ash to be listed on the Guaranteed Analysis section of a label, although companies can list a maximum amount of ash on the label if they chose to. Ash is the representative amount of minerals in a food, and cats require a minimum level of various minerals to maintain their health. Ash is a residue of combustion and is not added as an ingredient in pet food directly. To determine the amount of ash in a pet food, the sample is heated up to an extremely high temperature and the organic materials (such as protein, fat, and carbohydrates) are burned off. What is left is the "ash" or the total amount of inorganic mineral nutrients (such as calcium, phosphorus, iron, magnesium, etc.). The minerals that make up ash are important to your cat's health and ash should not be considered a filler or unnatural.
