Rated 1 out of 5 by from Incorrectly Labeled The label on the pail said it contained 50 lbs of Garnet Sand. Which is the amount I needed. The actual contents was only 45 lbs. This 5 lb shortage caused me to have to buy yet another $35.00 pail to obtain the 50 lbs I needed. The amount stated on the label should be what you get. If there is a plus or minus 10% tolerance to the contents, of each pail, it should say so on the label.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very clean abrasive sand I ordered this online and was surprised to have it show up to the store just three days later. This is the best media I have found that leaves no residue on the parts being prepped. Love the stuff!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible I always use black diamond fine grit, but the local TSC store was out. So I tried this garnet abrasive, 80 mesh. What a horrible job it did. I could not blast off surface rust from a steering knuckle, and the brown dust cloud inside my blast cabinet was so intense, even with my vacuum, I had to stop. For the price, this is not a product I recommend. I will stick with the black diamond----much better cutting, less dust, and cheaper!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works but very dusty I use AL oxide exclusively and I've never had it so dusty. This stuff creates so much dust that the vacuum can't keep up plus it accumulates on the lens shield. Incredibly dusty.
