- A: The Garnet Abrasives “GRBG50” can be used on glass. The Satin Finish/appearance is unknown to us. We sell this product to other people who do blast glass with it.4 years agoHelpful?

Excellent garnet blast medium

Great stuff! I use this in a small sand blaster to prepare small items for cerakote or other finish. Leaves a nice "tooth" on the metal surface. I have a pistol slide i blasted and cerakoted 2 years ago and still looks good today. Picked up 3 fifty pound buckets of this stuff from the local farm supply. Get you some.
