It should work but my horses are too suspicious. Great concept but when you are feeding 8 pills twice a day it eats up the product fairly fast. It has a flavored gel in the pill pocket and apparently my horse doesn't like it. Instructions say to use without pill for a few days so horse gets used to it. Didn't work in my case.

These have been a life saver me. I am able to give my newly diagnosed Cushing's mare her required pills and make certain she is getting them. She is a little clever and was able to not take her meds as required. Oh yea, she hates apples, so that wasn't going to work either LOL. But these you just put the pill inside and she gobbles it right down.

50/50 on these. They do fall apart easy. I ended up taking one and doing a quick dip in water and then balling it up it held the pill a little better. Handed a couple out as snacks and they liked them.

I have purchased 3 bags of these from 3 different places, hoping for a different result. I have a very picky horse that does not like molasses so I decided to try these. And he likes them. The problem that I have is that out of those 3 bags, I have had 3 pill pockets that actually had enough soft cranberry to put the pill into. Most have a very small amount of hard dried cranberry on the bottom that you cant even put a pill in and many have no cranberry at all. So unfortunately, they have become just expensive horse treat. Standlee, I know you can do better.
