Great for giving pill medication

I bought these to give Prascend pills as daily medication for PPID. I use a knife to make a slit in the pliable center of the pill pocket and then insert the pill, then use the knife to push down and cover the pill with the softer material in the center hole. I’ve been using for several weeks now and it is working well. There are 16 pill pockets in each bag. Which if you had to do 7 or 10 days of once a day pills would be fine. But if you need to give two pills a day or dispense daily medication for long periods you will need several bags. I wish they came in 30 or 60 pill pockets in a bag for those of us that need to dispense medication daily. I wish TSC would make leaving reviews easier, most of the time the program does not work!

Nothing to keep pill in place in the carrier

While my horse loves these, they don't work the best as a pill carrier. I'm not sure if the cranberry in the middle is to be sticky, in order to hold the pill in place, but it is not. If I put these in my horses feed bowl, he always manages to knock it over, causing the pill to fall out. I have to feed it to him by hand, making sure to do it over his bowl, in the event it falls out. These would be great if there was something that actually held the pill in place.

Worked great for hiding pills and capsules for my weanling. Pills were a bit easier to push in. Better if they are warmer so the molasses is soft.

the product is misleading... you cannot put a pill in the filling. Because it's so hard and they do not fill it all the way to the top like in the picture they have on the bag. I opened 2 bags and they were the same. so you can't push the pill into the filling.
