To apply Shapley's Original M-T-G, shake the bottle well to mix the yellow sediment, then apply a small amount directly to the affected area, whether it's a skin problem or for mane/tail growth. There's no need to wash the area before reapplication, and it can be used daily for skin problems or weekly as a preventative. If you have a horse that's prone to developing pastern dermatitis (which has many other common names) or other types of skin irritations including hair loss this product works great to clear it up and regrow hair. The smell isn't good but it's the sulphur ingredient that makes it work so well, just wear disposable gloves when applying.
