Bring big, bold flavor to your next barbecue with a hardwood pellet blend that's favored by many seasoned pitmasters. Pit Boss Hickory Blend Hardwood Pellets produce a strong aromatic smoke to perfectly complement beef, pork, poultry, and vegetables. Hickory is a popular choice for smoking because it packs a stronger flavor than most cooking woods, making it an ideal option for low and slow beef and pork. Savor 100% all-natural smoky flavor when you fuel up with our pellets, which are always free from added scents, sprays, chemicals, or glues.

Q: Will the pellets work as smoking wood in a regular smoker also do they fall apart if soaked?
7 years ago- A: Generally if a grill or smoker calls for wood chips you would not want to use pellets as they are more compact and don't allow for as much airflow around them in those types of containers. You could maybe sprinkle a few in an open wood or charcoal fire but if the fire is over 250 degree they wont smoke or smolder much at all. Being highly compressed sawdust you definitely want to avoid moisture/humidity as they will decompress. If you have specific models or situations you are always welcome to reach out via email ( [email protected] ) or phone ( 877-303-3134 ) anytime between 4am and 8pm pacific 7 days a week!7 years agoHelpful?
