The Pirtle Nursery 3.74 gal. Crimson Lady Peach Tree in #5 Pot offers delicious peaches that are deep red in color and have thin, almost smooth skin. The peaches grown on this fruit plant have very firm juicy flesh. This potted fruit tree requires 600-700 chill hours and is a self-pollinator. It is a very aromatic, clingstone peach and it is said they are best for snacking versus cooking.

Q: Do you need to plant more than one tree in order for pollination

- A: Great question! Technically, the Crimson Lady Peach is considered a self-pollinator but providing a second peach tree of different variety will ensure cross pollination. This will ensure production and produce larger amount of fruit. An interesting fact is that peaches are now considered self-pollinators due to improved root stock; however, they always do better with a friend. Hope this helps!a year agoHelpful?

- A: Here is the information we received from the vendor- 5 gallon trees are 11/16’ caliper at time of purchase. they will reach that caliper of 4-5” and then some! Hopefully this helps2 years agoHelpful?

- A: Hi, Peach trees are dormant during the winter months, so you should plant them during this period. Depending on your climate, late winter or early spring is the best time to plant peach trees. With that in mind, you must wait until the ground unfreezes and is no longer water-logged after the snow melts.2 years agoHelpful?

- A: Unfortunately, no. A Crimson Lady Peach #5 will maintain if taken care of in a pot for maybe 8 months to a year from time of purchase at this size, but eventually its root system will become rootbound as it grows and essentially suffocate the tree until it dies from lack of nutrient flow. This tree is budded onto dwarf rootstock (which helps create a more naturally disease resistant tree) which means mature height is around 15-25ft.4 years agoHelpful?
