Have had it only a wk, and it does okay. Installed it just in time for the coldest, wettest, weather we've had yet this Fall. It kept the dog house warm and dry. Kinda tough to install on the dog house after you've got it together. Take the base off the dog house, and then turn the dog house on it's side or upside down to install the door. Makes it much easier!

Ok. I bought this for a Dogloo XL. No issue with the door flap itself- standard poly/plastic door that conforms to the opening. BUT, try to mount it to the dog house with hands/fingers larger than a 2-year old and you'll have trouble. The door flap tab mounts by two holes at the top that align with 2 holes at the top of the dogloo opening. Screws provided are to insert from the inside of the dogloo through its holes, through the door flap and secured with a washer and nut. OK fine, reasonable idea. Another big BUT... there is an outer piece of the dogloo doorway that covers the area where you put on each washer/nut combo. Literally not enough spacing to hold the nut in place to start onto the screw.... unless you have infant fingers!! Plus, both areas are completely blocked so absolutely no visual ability to see it as well. Totally by feel only and impossible for my hands while holding the screw itself from inside the door. Conversely, you cannot put the screw from outside/in since there is not enough clearance to insert the screw. This seems like a total afterthought on the design. The doghouse is great, but this door flap assembly will just frustrate most people. I ended up removing the plastic material from the doghouse directly blocking the holes so I could access as well as see what I was doing.
