Works well.

I've been using this for about a year for mealie bugs on ornamentals. Works quite well for scale on my orchids as well, even tho not listed for use on them. Kind of a once and done thing on orchids. Clears up the critters in one application. For orchids, I pour some thru the bark medium.

Kills bugs when you need them gone....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife is a garden fanatic. Sop much so that one of her pandemic projects was a separate garden for pumpkins, squash, and zucchini. So I built her a 2-tier 10'x20' garden to go with her main garden and all the numerous flower beds on the property. With so many areas for bugs, this Malathion product was able to handle all the garden and trees and shrubs we have and it didn't falter. Seeing as it is a concentrate as well, I was able to make this small bottle cover quite a lot of area. I don't have a Dial-n-Spray but another pump sprayer and it worked just fine. I would recommend this to anyone looking to rid their live goods of any nuisance and destructive bugs.

Got rid of my aphids on my plant

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product to treat aphids on my shrubs. This bottle is concentrated so you need to dilute it when applying. I used the Ortho Dial N Spray to mix the chemical. Follow the instructions on the back for the proper mixing ratio. I set my Dial N Spray to 2 tsp setting and sprayed the plants. Any left over chemical products, I just poured it back in the bottle. Next day I checked my plants and no more aphids on the leaves. Overall it's pretty easy to use and a little goes a long way. Just make sure you follow the instructions on the mixing ratio.
ProsEffective

Yes, I recommend this product.

Multiple types of "dosage" suggestions!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, I personally enjoyed the "dosage" list that was included with this product, for specific pests and control, as well as a "do not harvest" fruits/vegetables etc within a certian timeframe. I honestly have hesitated using anything on my herb, vegetabke and fruit gardens, as I was worried that treating them would result in a harvest loss for me. I am happy to report that that IS NOT true. And that my herbs, which have been plagued with spiders, has been thriving and without further incident since using this product. I like how its concentrated, as well, so it does not take up much storage space. I can mix up and use as the need arises, which is convenient for me. The label and product was easy to understand and use.
