A little let down

Easy set up. Over a month on 2 and a week with 2 more in back yard. At this point not the results i would expect.

Not sure it works in Florida

I have placed 2 of the Ortho Defence units on my property. After 2 weeks, I wish I could say the mosquito problem has been controlled. My landscaper sprayed the grass with a mosquito killer as well. There has been a lot of rain in my part of Florida. I give it a “maybe”it works rating.

Thank you for your feedback on your purchase of Ortho Home Defense Mosquito Kill & Prevent Refills. Adult mosquitos that enter the station and are contaminated with the actives will die within 9 days. Because the female mosquito flies away after laying eggs, dead adult mosquitos will not be found in the station. While contaminated adult mosquitos will die within 9 days, this product primarily targets larvae. The larvae may be alive in the station but will die before they mature to adults. To confirm that a station is working you can look for larvae in the water of the station. Larvae in the station may be alive but will die before they mature to adults. A notable reduction in the mosquito population should be seen in 2-3 weeks.
