The Nutrena Empower Boost High-Fat Rice Bran Horse Feed Supplement is a high fat, calorie dense supplement for working horses and hard keepers. Empower Boost is a special blend of fat and select nutrients to give your horse a leg up to work harder, train longer and perform better. Increase the supplement feeding rate over a 2 week period as needed basis body condition goal for all classes of horses. The maximum feeding rate is generally 3lb per head per day. When changing feeds or hay, make the change gradually over a 7 day period.

Moldy bags

I really like the Empower boost for my hard keepers but the last 2 bags that I have bought have been moldy. It's a five star product when the feed is good. The first bag was moldy when I got to the bottom and I just opened a new bag today and it was moldy all the way through. I will be taking it back the store I bought it from and hope for a replacement. I will open the new ones at the store to be sure it's good.
