The Nutrena Empower Boost High-Fat Rice Bran Horse Feed Supplement is a high fat, calorie dense supplement for working horses and hard keepers. Increase the supplement feeding rate over a 2 week period as needed basis body condition goal for all classes of horses. The maximum feeding rate is generally 3lb per head per day. When changing feeds or hay, make the change gradually over a 7 day period.

I have used nutrena feeds for quite sometime. I picked up a horse who was in a tough spot and needed some help. He is aged in his late 20's and does not have the best teeth even after dental, worming, and vet care. I decided to add boost to his diet and what a difference one would never know his age just by looking at him. Amazing what some good eats will do !
