This is an equine solutions supplement designed to provide additional calories to all classes of horses, including maintenance, breeding, growing and performance. It incorporates a blend of high-fat ingredients, which provide low starch calories to help maintain body condition without increasing the grain ration. Sentinel Care Omegatin is a balanced supplement providing all nutrients, including amino acids, omega fatty acids, minerals and vitamins in an exclusive extruded nugget. The built-in fiber helps to maintain healthy hind-gut fermentation while also delivering extra calories. The cool calories, including soybean oil, flaxseed and rice bran, also help to maintain performance and body condition.

Sentinel Care Omegatin extruded high-fat supplement is recommended to be fed at the rate of 0.5 to 4 pounds* per horse daily. Provide supplemental grain ration as needed along with good quality hay or pasture. Provide clean water and salt free-choice. Do not exceed 0.3 ppm Selenium in total diet. *Approximate feed weight to volume is 0.85 lb = 1 quart. For accuracy, weigh feed. Suggested feeding program is intended solely as a guide. Adjust the feeding of Sentinel Care Omegatin according to individual needs and condition of the horse. The variables of management, environment, and breed may dictate changes to the animal's requirements. Store in a cool dry place. This product is perishable and may degrade if not consumed in a timely manner or not stored consistent with these instructions. Do not feed this product if it appears to be unfit for animal consumption.
We recommend in most cases, you slowly transition your animal when changing to a Kent/Blue Seal product or even between Kent/Blue Seal products. This allows the animal's digestive tract to properly adjust to the feed. To help with the transition, we recommend slowly mixing the new Kent/Blue Seal product in with your current feed and then gradually increase over the course of one-two week to 100% of the new Kent/Blue Seal product.
