Feeding Directions:
Max-E-Glo Stabilized Rice Bran is a rich source of fat and can be used to increase caloric intake in all classes of horses. Adding fat to the diet is a safe and effective way to provide the calories needed to support growth in young horses, fuel the activity of hard working performance horses, and build body condition in underweight horses. Dietary fat also supports a slick, shiny coat. Add Max-E-Glo Stabilized Rice Bran to your current feeding program as outlined.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this product I put one of my horses on the rice bran pellets. I could not keep weight on this geldind or get a good body condition and he had a very Dry coat. I took a picture of him every seven days and I could not believe the difference and I didn’t change anything up was not working him and the results are amazing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic product I have a 16.3 hh OTTB who is a hard keeper. He's already at the max of 12 lbs. with his pellet ration every day and still looked a bit "ribby". I switched feed several times and nothing seemed to be helping with this issue. Only when I started to add MaxEGlow to his feed, things finally changed. Now his ribs aren't showing anymore and as an additional benefit his coat is so shiny and soft! And he loves the taste as well and gobbles up his food as soon as I put it down.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing for underweight horses I bought this because my horse I bought a month ago came to me a lil underweight , so I bought hay and a fatty feed to boost his weight and this feed did the trick :)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Yes and No I have used successfully it to put weight on several horses, but they did not have PPID. Now that I have to know the sugar and starch content (at or below 8%) for PPID and IR horses - I can't use it because the information isn't readily available.

My OTTB has an ulcer history and a sensitive gut, does this have any probiotics? Will it b harsh on his gut? And if so do you recommend a digestive aid to fed along with this for those ulcer prone TB's?

Asked by: poetr
Max E Glo would be a good choice since it is low in starch. Max E Glo does not contain any probiotics, but you can add our probiotic supplement Opti-Zyme.

Can I use this as my feed with bermuda grass hay and salt. Or is this meant to be fed as a supplement to a feeding program?

Asked by: Risky Corona
This product is typically used as a supplement in a feeding program. However, if your horse is an easy keeper and does not require a lot of calories per day you can feed it by itself. If your horse is a hard keeper, or in moderate work to where they need a lot of calories to sustain their weight I do not recommend feeding just Max E Glo. This is not a "complete" supplement, so if you wish to only feed Max E Glo you will need to add a vitamin and mineral supplement as well. I recommend adding our Sho-Glo to make sure your horse does not become deficient in any vitamins or minerals.
