Strange black pellets in the feed

The bags had, among the normal pellets, small black pellets in them as if they had been burned. Contacted the manufacturer via email and absolutely NO response. What manufacturer is not concerned about contamination or poor processing in their horse feed products - apparently this one. Wouldn't buy from them again. Who knows what was processed with this feed. More importantly, they don't care to respond to a customer notification

Great product! finally molasses free!

Price is reasonable. Unbeetable beets are always fresh. My horses really like them even the molasses free which is what I use. I always soak at least 2 hours, then top dress with the other Nutrional supplements the horses need. Easy, economical, no waste. My horses look forward to their beet mash!
