Q: Just how stabilized is the vitamin C in these pellets? How long after manufacture does the vitamin C start to degrade and will keeping them in the refrigerator extend the time that the vitamin c will remain stabilized?

Q: What if your horse is at a barn that only feeds once a day? Could giving my horse 2 scoops of the pellets once a day be harmful to him?

- A: Hello! Both the powder and the pellets contain 9,000 mg of Ascorbic Acid per serving (which is 2 scoops). Each scoop contains about 4,500 mg. If you are looking to supplement the 16,000, which is over our recommended dosage, you would need about 3.5 scoops of supplement.
