This out-of-the-box kit has nearly everything you need to get started, no assembly required. The Deer feeder timer kit even includes batteries! You can also choose to power your feeder with a solar panel (sold separately). The all-in-one deer feeder easily attaches to any bucket size and allows up to 4 programmed feed times per day. The kit's new efficiency battery design now offers double the run time, providing up to 4 months' field life!

Q: I am confused!!! ...Specs for feeder states 1 to 20 seconds programmable run time BUT the answer I got states the minimum run time is 4 seconds (0.8 lbs) ??? Which is it? ....1 second would be exactly what I would want to feed fish pond (0.2lbs)

Q: I want to feed Koi 1/2cup of pellets per feeding ... what is the rate of dispersal per second? ... Is there a way to reduce the size of the shoot to reduce the output ?

- A: The lowest setting for the All-In-One feeder kit is a 4 second run time which spreads around 0.8 lbs of feed. Since this kit spreads in all directions it doesn't come with a chute. We do make a Directional Feeder Kit that has a chute and will dispense feed in one direction.4 years agoHelpful?

Solar connect

I mounted the Feeder to a 5-gallon bucket to feed my chickens.
I installed Lithium Rechargeable AA Batteries, 1. 5V 3000mWh High Capacity. (Not NiMH Rechargable batteries, they only put out 1. 2v)
I purchased a 6v solar panel (messured puts out 7. 5v) , but I need to place the panel 10 feet away to get sun.
The solar connector is a 5. 5mm x 2. 5mm plug, and there are many extension cables available for purchase online.
A 7. 5V AC/DC plugin adapter with the 5. 5mm 2. 5mm plug also works for me.
