Q: Can it dispense peanuts?

- A: Hi neighbor! No, the Moultrie Pro Hunter III Feeder Kit cannot dispense whole peanuts, as they are too large and oddly shaped for the spin-plate mechanism. However, it can successfully broadcast crushed peanut hearts or peanut meal when thoroughly blended into standard whole-kernel corn. To prevent the oily residue from clogging the drop-funnel, you should always select the "High" RPM motor speed to force the mixed feed out cleanly.17 days agoHelpful?
Q: Can you use this for a different brand of feeder or does it have to be. Moultrie feeder?

- A: Thank you for your question! If you purchase the standalone motor kit, you do not have to use it with a Moultrie Hopper. You can use another hopper. The kit should come with a quick-lock adapter to install on a hopper as well. If you have any additional questions, please give us a call at 1-844-908-1219. - A: Thank you for your question. Yes, the Moultrie Feeder Activator (remote control) will work with the Moultrie Pro Hunter III feeder. The Feeder Activator isn't necessary for on-demand feeding with the Pro Hunter III. The feeder has built-in Bluetooth connectivity that pairs with the free Moultrie Mobile app on your phone, allowing you to trigger a feed manually (on demand) when you're within Bluetooth range (typically up to about 100-200 feet, depending on conditions). You can also use the app to adjust schedules, check estimated feed levels, and sync times with sunrise/sunset—no subscription is required for these Bluetooth features.11 months agoHelpful?

I have had my Pro III for 4-5 months now. I have had no problems with it at all. MUCH stronger throws' than the old units, and a lot more options in the programming side.
The only issue, and it is minor, is the Bluetooth is a little week. Not sure how you claim it works up to 100 yds. But other than that, all great.

Happy with the motor , getting it connected was the issue . Once connected to my edge3 it worked better . Not sure how many times it is supposed to check in , this feeder does every 24 hrs . For me anyway.

I have several six of those batteries for my old feeder Moultrie batteries and they don't fit my new feeder I had to buy new batteries I didn't like that

Bought 4 of these to replace some older feeder motors, I liked that I could access the timer with a latch, instead of the bottom screw. Then realized the would need to replace all my batteries because they didn't want to make it 0. 5 inches longer. . . Big miss on their part.
