11 months ago- A: Hi Neighbor! While not always required, soaking Medalist Alfalfa Pelleted Horse Feed is recommended for horses prone to choke, senior horses, or those with dental issues. Soaking can also improve hydration and digestibility. If not soaking, ensure the horse has access to plenty of fresh water.
