Alfa Nibblets are a high-quality, pelleted forage option made from clean, mold-free fiber ingredients. With consistent texture and year-round availability, they're ideal as a complete hay replacement, hay extender, or supplement carrier. Safe for horses and all livestock species."Always 100% horse-safe. Bluebonnet guarantees that risky ingredients, like ionophores, are never allowed on property. Ingredients are sourced from partners who share the same safety values - so there's never a risk of contamination. Bluebonnet believes in transparency. Knowing what goes into your feed and supplements should never be an obstacle. You won't see common label tricks or vague ingredients. Q: Are pellets 100 organically grown with no fillers?
a month ago- A: Hi Angie! These pellets are not certified or labeled as organically grown.a month agoHelpful?
Q: I UNDERSTAND it’s good for rabbits. How would i supplement my rabbits.
2 months ago- A: Hi Neighbor! Bluebonnet Alfa Nibblets (50 lb. bag) are safe for rabbits and can serve as a high-quality, alfalfa-based forage option, but they are generally intended as a hay extender or supplement rather than a complete, daily pelleted feed. They are grain-free, high in fiber, and made from clean, mold-free ingredients.2 months agoHelpful?
Q: How much should you start out feeding a senior horse
8 months ago- A: Hi Neighbor! For the health of your horse we highly recommend consulting with a veterinarian on the recommended amount to start out feeding your senior horse.7 months agoHelpful?
Q: How much does a 1,000 lb horse need per day. The photos do not show the back of the bag for rations.
8 months ago- A: If using Bluebonnet Alfa Nibblets as a total forage replacement, you should feed at the same rate you would feed hay (1 to 2 lb per 100 lb of body weight). If you are simply looking for some extra fiber to compliment your existing hay program, it is safe to feed at any volume you choose (just make sure that the total weight of hay + Alfa Nibblets reaches 15 to 20 lb each day so your 1,000 lb horse receives the necessary 1.5 to 2% of body weight in total food each day). Alfa Nibblets are also a great carrier for supplements, and can easily be made into a mash for horses with poor dental condition.8 months agoHelpful?
