Well built but not practicle
Well built but almost impossible to use. The tire is halfway under the trailer when mounted. You have hold the tire up with your hands above your head while lying on your back when releasing it. Bring a helper skinny enough to get totally under the trailer. Can’t flip it over because the trailer side rails hit the tire.

Karavan essential.

It’s a very sturdy build. Took about an hour to put together. Mostly because the picture was a little confusing.
Word of advice, attach the tire to the bracket first then use some sort of stand with wheels to the tire under the trailer in place to assemble it the trailer itself. You will need an electric power ratchet to ease the bolts onto the screws. Especially putting on the bolts that hold the wheel on.
The only thing that bothers me is how low it sits. But I assume karavan has that clearance figured out.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Terrible mounting solution.
It wants me to mount the tire beneath the frame? Loss of ground clearance and getting that wheel off and on isn't a one person job. Im not even going to install it on the trailer. Nope. I only gave it 2 stars because of the quality of the piece.
Tractor Supply, you can have it back. Getting my refund today!

Sturdy but a terrible design
Just installed this on my Karavan trailer and am removing it to take it back right after this review. 1. The mount only goes upside down so the tire is under the trailer. The last thing I want to do is lay under the trailer on a roadside to get my tire. Huge safety issues here and this should be banned and the designer should be fired. You need a rachet to get the lugs off and let gravity do it's thing. Move quick because you will be holding the tire with 1 hand unless you use clamps or a strap to hold it up. 2. The bolt pattern is off just enough that if you try to tighten it down you will tear your aluminum mag wheel to pieces. It would work for the plain steel wheels but my spare matches my primary wheels and it will not work. All the wheels are Karavan OEM Wheels.
No, I do not recommend this product.
