- A: The stakes included in the DK2 Open Sided Rail Kit are made from 1.5-inch square tubular steel designed to slide right into your trailer's pre-welded pockets. On the 8-foot sides, the posts are spaced approximately 24 inches apart from the corners to the middle to maintain rigid structural support. An intentional 4-to-6-inch gap is left right at the center seam, allowing your two-piece side rail panels to clear each other perfectly whenever you fold the trailer up for storage. My husband is the one that’s using it, and he says that it’s great. We’re in the process of moving and it helped us a lot and hold a lot of things for us!

Welded wrong and no directions.

Ordered this to repair my trailer I need in 2 weeks from now. Complete waste of time being one side of the railings has the posts welded 1 post space off from the mounts. About 4” off on one side. I either have to move the mounts which I should not have to do, or return this product. The other side lines up perfectly. There are no directions at all packed with this. I called, haven’t heard back. I’d beware of this being a too good to be this cheap product.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Missing hardware

This rail kit worked perfect on my trailer. The only issue I had, was that it did not come with any of the nuts required to assemble it… It’s too bad that I had to spend extra money just to assemble the rail kit. If I knew this, I might have reconsidered my purchase.
