Great trimmer but I don’t like the changes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great hedge trimmer, but it’s a bit different from the one I had (same type just a year younger). The head became a bit heavier and instead of a soft grip, there is a harder plastic one. Otherwise you can be very productive with it as it’s still lighter then most of the pole trimmers.

Great trimmer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Articulates, cuts great and super long run time. This trimmer is awesome. Feels realy heavy duty and well balanced. I use it with a 300 battery. Trimmed a hedge 150 feet long by 25 feet tall and only went down a bar on the battery.

Simply the Best

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 520iHE3 battery operated hedge trimmer, is one of the best gifts I ever gave myself. It’s lightweight at 9lbs maybe 10lbs or so with the battery and easily manageable by me, a 69 year old grandmother. I have 5 acres that is heavily treed and with lots of hedges and bushes that need continuous maintenance. The blade length and the adjustable head make this tool easy to work with and to manage those hard to reach areas. There is plenty of power with the interchangeable 36V battery that I borrow from my Husqvarna ext. pole saw, a work horse capable of sawing through 7”-8” rounds though Husqvarna probably doesn’t recommend it but then again they don’t have to deal with all the trees that I have. The other reasons I love the battery operated tools is no more dealing with mixing gasoline and oil, engine and spark plug maintenance and smelling like a gas station when I’m done working for the day. And last but not least by any means, I am from the Pacific Northwest, inundated with terrible fires every summer. We always have shutdowns on gas powered equipment at certain times of the day which changes throughout the season. The same for commercial logging, welding etc. or any spark emitting tool. These battery operated tools allow me to continue throughout the season with care. It’s easy as 1,2,3. CHARGE, INSTALL and GO.
