Chainsaw component does not work

The hedge trimmer part works great. The chainsaw part does not. It leaks oil and it cuts out. It runs for a few seconds, like 3 and stops. No reason for it to stop. It's not the main part of this device because the hedge trimmer doesn't stop working. I would not buy again. I would not recommend dewalt battery chain saw. This is the second cordless one we tried.
