I purchased one of these units at a local hardware store today and was not impressed at all. As a matter of fact, I immediately returned it for credit. After arriving home and assembling the saw (per instruction manual I might add) I noticed that there was an extreme amount of flex in the shaft connections between the handle and the head. It was like the shaft connections were not tight by any means which was causing about 5-6 inches of “flop” in the unit. I tried it without the extension center section and there was still at least 3 inches of “flop” in that configuration. I decided this tool was not for me.
