The Hobart Flow Gauge MIG Regulator is constructed of solid corrosion-resistant aluminum. This regulator features 2 inch-diameter gauges with shatter-resistant polycarbonate lenses. This flow gauge regulator also features machined aluminum bonnet and dual filters for high-pressure seat protection. The Hobart regulator is compatible with 100% Argon and Argon/CO2 mixed gasses.

Q: This sucks, I cant find answer any where, Does Hobart even make a .032 orifice ? I havent been able to find them !!! can you use .030 with .030 wire with gas mix ??/?

Q: does the hose come with the regulator? Two of the pictures show the hose but didn't know if it was a seperate item

Q: Disconnection question: Now that I've adjusted the flow (low pressure) delivery gauge to read zero AND closed the gas cylinder valve, I don't know how to operate the relief valve to ensure the supply (high pressure) gauge reads zero before disconnection.

- A: There is no pressure relief valve. To release that pressure, you could slowly undo the regulator from the tank after all valves are shut. You could also close then tank valve first and bleed off any remaining pressure at the welder by actuating the trigger.6 years agoHelpful?
Q: What size flexible tubing best fits the hose barb included with this device?

Q: The gauge says use .032 orifice. What does that mean? What orifice where? Do you need different orifices for different gas mixes?

- A: The orifice is built into the gauge and cannot be changed. It will provide the most accurate flow rate with mixed gases. The flow rate indication will be slightly off when using 100% Argon or 100% CO2.7 years agoHelpful?

Picture shows it comes with a hose. It doesn’t. Buy this product from Northern Tool instead of TS.

Was shopping for dog food, etc, and saw the flow regulator for my welder. Name brand from a reputable store and wished I'd known about it before I bought chinese crap with mystery threads and no attachments online. Lesson learned. Works great, ready to go out of the package.
