Unable to set bead without using an inner tube.

Once I mounted the tire on the rim, I was unable to set the bead; the inner rim of the tire is much narrower than the rim of the wheel. Even a tire shop was unable to set the bead, but they recommended I insert an inner tube. That worked. To anyone purchasing this Chinese-made tire, I suggest you also purchase an inner tube.

Junk Chinese Trash - Do not buy!

This tire is absolute trash. I purchased two of these tires. The flimsy sidewalls bow in making properly seating the bead impossible. I tried ratchet straps and even the starting fluid trick. A quick search of reviews on other sites revealed others with the same experience. Some even said professional mower shops couldn't get the tires to seat properly. Do not waste your time and money on these.
No, I do not recommend this product.

The tire is adequate. Purchased for a cub cadet lawn tractor. I was looking for an 8.00-9, yet this worked. Serves the purpose.
