- A: Not sure, but I would not buy this product. I had an issue with a wheel 3 months into owning this thing, found out that the gears are made of molded plastic. Called for support, told it wasn't covered, and had to buy wheels out of pocket. If you name is Ohio Steel, why are you making gears out of plastic?5 years agoHelpful?
Q: Are chains or other traction improvements available. The sweeper works great but later in the fall the leaves remain wet and the wheels just slide. I'd like to add weight to the sweeper as well but the wheels are already bending outward from leaves alone.

These wheels were the exact same ones that i replaced on my sweeper, so fit and installation was not a problem. Bearings are plastic just like the original so i applied a little bearing grease, hopefully extending the life and wear of the wheels.
