Can this pump be used to transfer Diesel Exhaust Fluid ?

Asked by: Wtviper
Sorry but it cannot. We no longer manufacture DEF pumps so you would have to source one elsewhere I'm afraid. Thank you, GPI sales team.

can I put inline to transfer water? Will it pressurize a tank? Any lead in construction? Is it rebuildable?

Asked by: M888
Good Afternoon. Sorry for the delay but unfortunately the DP-20 cannot be used for water transfer due to chemical compatibility. However, we do have our LP-50 hand pump which is designed for water. Check with Tractor Supply and they should be able to assist you further with a quote. Thank you, GPI sales team.

Will this pump thru a  Cim  tek filter that you sale ?

Asked by: Mouse22
I'm sorry but without specifications on that filter I cannot answer your question; however, we do not recommend the use of filters on our hand pumps because they do not put out enough pressure to work properly. I would advise using an inline strainer if you need something to filter out debris.

Can I add a filter inline or will it be to difficult to pump if I do?

Asked by: Happy55
We do not recommend using a filter on the hand pumps because they do not generate a high amount of pressure, so yes it could become difficult to pump but also result in priming issues. If you must have some type of filter on the outlet we would recommend using an in-line strainer instead. If you have any questions please give us a call!
