As a GPI best-seller, GPI 12V 18 GPM M-180S-ML Fuel Transfer Pump with Filter provides longer run times and reliable performance year-over-year. It's the pump of choice for agricultural, automotive and construction applications dispensing gasoline, diesel fuel, and kerosene with flow rates up to 18 GPM (68 LPM). The fuel pump features a self-priming rotary gear design, a 12VDC motor, and a lightweight cast aluminum body that resists corrosion. The included 18 GPM (68 LPM) particulate filter kit with 10 micron nominal filtration to remove fuel contaminants that can damage your equipment. This GPI fuel transfer pump and filter combo is UL listed and comes with a manual leaded nozzle, a telescoping suction pipe to fit tank depths between 15 in. and 40 in., convenient spin collar for easy installation, a lockable nozzle holder to deter theft, a fuel dispensing hose, and a factory-installed, 18 ft. (5.5 m) power cord.

Q: Currently. I've been getting both water and small bits of metal type shavings from my tank into my filter on my kubota. Would this unit have a filter system to stop water and shavings getting into the pump? ext filler be deep enough for 36 gallon tanks?

- A: Hello, There is a wire mesh strainer at the inlet side of the pump. It will filter particles that could affect the operation of the pump, but will not filter water out of the fuel. The spin-on filter with this kit is installed after the pump. It is not a water filter but can be replaced with one. Q: I have a 200 gal above ground diesel fuel tank with 2” (I think) fill hole on top of tank and 3/4” gravity feed line on side and bottom area of tank that I use to fill my tractor. Will this pump work on my tank and if so, where should it be mounted?

- A: All of our pumps have a 2" MNPT fitting, so given you have a 2" fitting that would be the area to connect. A 200 gallon tank would work with the M-180S just fine.
