Q: Is the pvc suction pipe long enough to use this in a 55 gal barrel? How long is the suction pipe when fully extended?
4 years ago- A: Hello, Yes the suction pipe that comes with the HP-90 hand pump has a telescoping suction pipe that can go from 15" collapsed to 40" fully extended. It can easily reach the bottom of a 55 gallon drum. Thank you, GPI Team.4 years agoHelpful?
Q: can't get this hand pump to prime. please advise....
4 years ago- A: Good morning, In regards to the HP-90 not priming. There are several factors to consider, when something like this happens. 1) Check the anti-siphon valve. (little black looking button). You will take a putty knife, or flat edge, and pop that off to check. Next screw the plug out of the housing. check the umbrella valve for debris, and clean with WD-40, also check to make sure the O-ring is past the threads. 2) You need to use this pump with the hose it came with, and an open ended nozzle. Nothing should be blocking the nozzle. 3) Check all of your wetted seals. (under cover plates). 4) Make sure that the suction pipe, is not touching the very bottom of the fuel tank. It needs to be 2" above the bottom. Please contact us, if this does not resolve your issue. Thank you, Tyler4 years agoHelpful?

Q: Does this pump have a way to lock it with a paddle lock? I have a tank in the back of my truck and need to prevent theft issues, or at least provide a deterrent...
6 years ago- A: It does not, but you could remove the clevis pin and hitch clip from the handle and store it within your truck or wherever when not using the hand pump and no one would be able to use the pump. That would be my best suggestion for you otherwise you could probably drill a hole out in the handle and make your own lock of some sort. I hope that helps. Thank you, GPI sales team.6 years agoHelpful?
Q: Would this pump work to pump round-up out of a 30 gallon barrel? Is it designed for that type of chemical?
7 years ago- A: No, the HP-90 would not be a good pump for round-up; however, our model HP-100-C item 114000-11 would work. You will have to special order this item, but TSC can get it. If you need further assistance or have any questions let us know! Thank you, GPI sales team.7 years agoHelpful?
Q: Can a filter be installed for diesel fuel?
7 years ago- A: We do not recommend filters with the hand pump because the hand pump does not put out enough pressure. However, you can install a strainer in-line, but note it will require maintenance depending on how often you use the pump and how dirty your fuel or tank is.7 years agoHelpful?
