The GPI Electric 8 GPM EZ-8 Fuel Transfer Pump is ideal for on the go fueling for agricultural and automotive applications and is the pump of choice for refueling recreational vehicles. It features a rotary gear design and is made from durable, lightweight die-cast aluminum, delivering gas station equivalent flow rates (up to 8 GPM (30 LPM)) for gasoline, diesel fuel, and kerosene. This fuel transfer pump comes with a manual unleaded nozzle, a 10 ft. (3 m) fuel dispensing hose, direct mount bung adapter, a factory-installed power cord, and a telescoping suction pipe to fit tank depths between 15 in. and 40 in. Its motor is U.L. Listed to U.S. and Canadian standards and it comes with a 2-year warranty.

- A: The GPI 8 GPM 12V Fuel Transfer Pump, Manual Nozzle will likely prevent the lid of the RDS 72745 tank and toolbox combo from closing. The total installed height of the GPI pump is approximately 9 inches above the tank's bung. This is too tall for the low-profile toolbox lid on an integrated tank-toolbox unit to completely close and hide the pump. Q: Please clarify the difference between automatic and manual nozzles. Both use 12 volt power source.

A manual nozzle requires you to hold the handle down continuously and does not shut off automatically, so you must monitor the fill closely. An automatic nozzle senses when the tank is full and shuts off on its own, offering added convenience and spill prevention. The stator magnets are glued to the housing

I had an electric motor fail and took it apart for analysis. The stator magnets are glued inside the motor housing and the glue had failed. My manufacture date was 2017 and I called GPI to see if they would warranty it but they were quick to deny any help. I would have a lot more confidence in these pumps if they had a mechanical fastener securing the magnets inside the motor.

I owned this product for 2 years and 3 months and during that time frame I went through two pumps due to poor quality only after pumping roughly 250 gallons. Customer service was good and easy to get a hold of and helpful however their product is junk and I would stay away from anything they make. Customer service or warranty would not help me out going through two pumps in about 2 years.

Pump was easy to install and pumps great for being only 8 gpm. Only wish they would do swivels for the hose ends, but i picked up those cheap enough.
