I use this, along with a Goldenrod water filter, on my farm tank for autos, trucks, and my gasoline-powered equipment. Although not cheap, it performs extremenly well, in snow, ice, rain, and high heat. Unlike an electric pump, I am ALWAYS in EXACT control of flow rate. This allows me to quickly gas my truck, but also accurately and safely refuel my leafblower and chain saw's 1/2 gal mix bottles, without splashing. Best pump for twice the price - well made, rugged, reliable.

I've owned 3 of these pumps. I replaced the first one because of a poor installation. Very much my fault! It operated flawlessly so the logical thing to do was acquire another one. The second one leaked around the piston seal from the beginning. I contacted GPI customer service about replacement seals. They decided to replace the unit free of charge so that they might study the problem for quality control. I received the 3rd pump, installed it with the same configuration of filter and nozzle that I had used on the prior 2 and this one leaked immediately plus extremely difficult to operate. After fussing with it for several months, the operations became unacceptable. I contacted GPI customer service again and explained the situation. Within 30 seconds the entire issue was my fault. That I had not installed nor used the equipment properly. I wanted to switch to an electric pump and was going to purchase a GPI unit. Because of the customer service attitude, I acquired the tried and true Tuthil Fill-rite pump. GPI, I will not be back!
