No connectivity with the keypad

Although the unit does work and was fairly easy to synch up with the app, I was surprised to learn that it does not connect in any way with the keypad. You can send someone a code to open your gate, but they must have the app in order to do so. We live in a remote area with poor cell coverage, so unless a guest or driver has downloaded the app before their trip, this device is useless. I can however, open the gate remotely if someone calls me that can't get in, but again, they can't call me if they can't get a cell signal. If MultiConnect kit connected with the keypad, I could create keypad codes remotely and also have a history and alert of who opened the gate.

The best gate accessory

I used my gate for several years before deciding to get this add-on. This allows me to open the gate from anywhere to allow contractors or repairman in without giving out the code to everyone. I also get notifications If my gate is opened by someone who does have the code. It helps me feel much more secure.
