The Ghost Controls 10W Monocrystalline Solar Panel Kit with Mounting Bracket is a great solution for anyone in a remote location that does not have easy access to 120V, 60 horse AC power, or for those who do not want to be on the grid. The gate solar panel connects to the gate opener system easily and also connects into the control box to supply recharging power to the main system batteries. Solar power adds flexibility, avoiding the time, expense and labor necessary to trench over long distances to reach an AC power point. The Ghost Controls 10W solar panel kit includes a mounting post and hardware for installation on wood fencing. It's backed by an 18-month warranty.

- Ghost Controls 10W solar panel kit allows a direct connection to the gate controller's main board, providing power for recharging the gate system batteries
- Gate solar panel installations are ideal in areas with full, unobstructed sun exposure
- Quick and easy installation with the included mounting post and hardware that allows the 10W solar panel to be positioned in an ideal spot
- Compatible with all Ghost Controls Automatic Gate Opener Systems and other brands of 12V gate opener systems (sold separately)

- You can add multiple solar panels in parallel (up to three 10W panels) or use one AX30 30W Solar Panel to maximize your recharging potential, especially in areas where sunlight can be limited during certain seasons
- Please note: For solar installations, we suggest purchasing a deep cycle marine/trolling motor battery and battery box at your local retailer
- 18-month warranty can be extended to 24 months with product registration
- Many solar-powered gate installations in the United States are eligible for federal/local tax credits

Q: Does this have an automatic cut-off switch so that the battery doesn't get over-charged?
7 years ago- A: The solar panel does not have an automatic cut-off switch inside of the panel itself. When this solar panel is used with our Ghost Controls Automatic Gate Opener systems, it is connected to our system control board which contains an intelligent charging circuit that maintains the battery and does not allow it to be overcharged.7 years agoHelpful?
